My background in school counseling, youth development, and program strategy shapes how I approach this work. I connect student needs with the plans, tools, staff supports, and data routines teams need to carry out the work consistently.
Black Student Success Program
As Black Student Success Program Manager at Green Dot Public Schools California, I lead the strategy, implementation, and refinement of a program spanning five pilot campuses.
I build the infrastructure behind the work, including advisor guidebooks, student support tools, academic monitoring routines, professional learning resources, and implementation plans. I use academic data and advisor feedback to identify needs, monitor progress, and refine the program’s approach to academic success, belonging, and college readiness for Black students.
District Strategic Planning
I contribute to district strategic planning by translating Black student success priorities into clear actions, implementation tools, and progress checks.
My work connects district goals with school-level planning through campus reflection tools, resource development, data review, and implementation support. I help define what teams will do, who will carry the work forward, and what evidence will inform the next decision.
Counseling Supports & Coaching
My counseling support work draws on experience as a school counselor and Counselor Support Specialist. I supported 12 counselors through coaching, consultation, resource development, and professional learning focused on academic planning, A-G progress, MTSS, and college readiness.
Earlier, as a middle school counselor, I provided academic, social-emotional, and behavioral support to more than 350 students. That direct experience informs the guides, planning tools, and support systems I build for school teams.
Dual Enrollment
I led the development of dual enrollment pathway systems with six local community colleges, contributing to a 50% increase in student participation over one year.
My work included counselor guidebooks, grade-entry protocols, tracking tools, and implementation resources. I also collaborated with data teams to improve course visibility, grade monitoring, and reporting across PowerSchool, PowerScheduler, and UC Doorways.
